On the surface, Barr. Chidi Donald Amamgbo is an accomplished and a renowned Legal Luminary of the United States Court of Appeals for the Nineth Circuit, with over 28years of Experience. A philanthropist and humanitarian of the Anambra state of the south-easten Nigeria. A graduate of University of Maiduguri, Born State Nigeria (1984) and  University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law Sacramento California (1989). He was called to the Nigerian and American Bar Association in 1985 and 1994 respectively.

As an excellent and most conscientious lawyer he has trailed the legal profession with excellent records in high profile cases to mention among many is the famous Re- westley fire tire case no. 231800 and Sullivan v. DB Investments, No. 04-02819 (D. N.J.) in which he displayed an astonishing astute legal prowess in his usual way of driving home his cases to victory. 

Away from his life at the bench, he is a father per excellence, a husband of envy amongst women, a friend to rely on, an elite of high repute in his own calling in every society he is found and an ardent servant of God from the Anglican Mission of the Christian faith. As a devout whoshipper, Barr. Chidi built the Saint Stephens Anglican Cathedral at Ihiala, a Community in Anambra Satate. 

Following the big question of Martin Luther King Jr., 'what are you doing for others'. *He has become a pillar of hope for the people, mostly in need. He has proven to us that overcoming poverty is not a task of charity, but an act of justice. Over the years, Barr. Chidi has constructed over 10 kilometers of roads in Ihiala, given scholarships to the underprivileged children, eradicating hunger amongst the needy and the widows, drill boreholes in remote communities to provide clean and portable water. As it popularly said, "he who gives water, gives life; As Water is Life".*
