A celebrated American Account and finance management technocrat, JOHN ETOH, a Native of Obibiezina autonomous community in Owerri north local government has called on Imolites, organizations and government to assist underprivileged persons in the State.

JOHN ETOH made the call during the Okwun Umuobaa Youth Empowerment program held In his home town, Obibiezena, emphasizing that no society or nation has it all.
He says the ability of the rich to assist others, especially the underprivileged, speaks volume for the society.
ETOH also used the occasion to launch a foundation in memory of his parents with a mandate to improve the lives of the less privileged.
Addressing the people and the beneficiaries during the ceremony, the Chairman of the foundation, chief Silvester Onuegbu thanked the foundation owner, Mr John Etoh for his kind gesture. He advised beneficiaries to make good use of the humanitarian assistance to improve on their lives for the sake of posterity.

Responding, some of the beneficiaries commended JOHN ETOH for his kind gesture and prayed for the success of the foundation.

The name of the foundation is Gilbert and Philomena ETOH Foundation and three administrators where selected to run its affairs.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of some amount of money given to one miss Uzochi Nwaokecha, who was about committing suicide as a result of the frustration arising from her inability to pay for her school fees. Mr John Etoh  saved her life and the ugly situation by offsetting the academic bills.

In his vote of thanks, the Chairman of the newly established foundation, Chief Silvester Onuegbu re-echoed the need for support from other well-meaning sons and daughters of the community, urging them to emulate the philanthropic spirit of Mr John Etoh for a better future and symbiotic relationship among the members of Umuobaa kindred in Amaze Obibiezena.
