The Imo state youth consensus Candidate and UPP Governorship candidate, Hon. Tony Nwulu has received a commendable reception from people of Oru East and Oru West Local government area in Imo state ahead of the Governorship elections.

The campaign train of Hon. Tony Nwulu stormed the Oru Local government area on February 27th as it recorded a massive turnout of youths, women, adults and children to welcome their Governor in wait and to sustain their undying support for his mandate at the polls.

In a reaction, Hon. Tony told the people that the trends of greed, desperation, corruption, self-centeredness and uninvolvement of the people in policies that reflects on economic development would be abolished.

According to Hon. Tony, his government will take issues of economic development very seriously. He stated that, when the economy improves, the living condition of the people will also improve. He maintained that the economic improvement will be reflected on the per capital income of the people, which will go a long way to improve business across the state.

Our reporters observed excitement amongst the people who came out en-masse to support his Excellency Hon. Tony Nwulu, as they chanted several words of commendations at the United Progressive Party Governorship candidate.

In a remark from Iheme Ikedi, a resident of Oru Local Government area, he says, "Hon. Tony is a deliverer, sent by God to initiate breakthrough projects, innovations and advanced Development for the people of Imo state and I am sure that he has the interest of Imolites at heart".

Hon. Tony is a dedicated agent of change, a youth advocate, who promised Imo youths 80% involvement in his cabinet and a fervent imposition of creative/innovative leadership. 

Hon. Tony called on the people to exercise their franchise for the UPP leadership so as to be a part of the active voice that cries against old politicians who keeps deceiving the masses. He stressed that this is the right time for Imolites to the conventional process of recycling same old persons who have gathered wealth by looting the public treasury.
