REVEALED AND EXPOSED AT LAST: SOUTH EAST HAS OCEAN'S CLOSEST SEAPORT IN AFRICA

Just zoom this map and you will see that Abia State has direct access to the ocean. Southeast isn't Landlocked!
Stop the lies of Southeast being Landlocked!

The town's name is called Ohambele in Ukwa East LGA, sits just twenty seven miles ( not nautical miles ) to the Atlantic ocean proper and provides a depth beyond 20m.

This means citing the port almost at the mouth of the ocean itself. The only site comparable to this is only  the much touted Ibaka deep sea port proposal in Akwa Ibom State. This site requires no dredging of any kind or channels to the open sea as its the high sea itself. At some point in the past smugglers were reported to be using this town as a haven because of this access.

Unfortunately as the case with everything Igbo  the authorities prefer to pretend that Igbo land is landlocked. While the governors in the east carry on as if it is true. May God in His infinite mercies raise true leaders for Igbo land.
