MASSOB, others condemn bombing of Nwodo’s house


A coalition of pro-Biafra groups yesterday condemned the bombing of the home of President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo at Ukehe, Igbo-Etiti local government area of Enugu state last weekend by unidentified persons.
The groups in a statement after their meeting in Enugu also expressed dissatisfaction with what they called “President Trump’s indifferent attitude to the plight of Biafrans during a meeting with President Buhari”.
Those who attended the meeting include representatives of Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Eastern Peoples’ Congress (EPC), Igbo Youth Cultural and Restoration Initiative (IYCRI), Bilie Human Rights Initiative (BHRI), Movement of Biafrans in Nigeria (MOBIN), Salvation People of Biafra (SP), World Union of Biafran Scientists (WUBS), Shadow Government of Biafra (SGB), among others. In a resolution signed by Comrade Uchenna Madu ( Leader of MASSOB), Nwada Eberechukwu Anigbogu ( DG, MOBIN), Engineer Innocent Amadi (BHRI) and Mazi Felix Anochirionye (EPC) on behalf of others, the Coalition announced May 30 as Biafra Day celebrations worldwide.
The statement noted, “In our monthly meeting in Enugu, the over 18 groups frowned at the attack which they described as a threat against Igbos and a very big insult to Igbo nation.
